39C3 Electric Firetruck

Since February 2025, the city of Hamburg has been using an electric firefighting vehicle (eHLF for short) for a trial period of two years, but what is so special about it? It’s not just the electric drive, but also the state-of-the-art equipment that has been installed. We will drive together to the Barmbek fire and rescue station to take a look at this impressive vehicle.

Important: Since we will be visiting a fire and rescue station and its vehicle, it is possible that we will have less time than planned in the event of an emergency, or that no one will be on site. This is all part of normal working hours, and we will also be guided by an emergency responder on duty.
